This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) describes the rules that apply to the use of the dzugg VPN service operated by INIT5 Tech Projects SL.

By using the dzugg service, you agree to comply with this policy.

Prohibited activities

Users may not use the dzugg service for activities that violate applicable laws or regulations.

Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

distributing malware or malicious software
unauthorized access to networks, systems, or accounts
launching denial-of-service (DoS) attacks
sending spam or unsolicited bulk communications
engaging in fraud or identity theft
distributing illegal content
violating copyright or intellectual property rights

Abuse of network resources

Users must not use the service in a way that:

disrupts the stability or performance of the network
interferes with other users of the service
attempts to bypass security measures

INIT5 Tech Projects SL reserves the right to limit or suspend accounts that negatively impact the stability of the service.

Compliance with laws

Users are responsible for ensuring that their use of the dzugg service complies with all applicable laws and regulations in their jurisdiction.

INIT5 Tech Projects SL does not monitor user activity but may take action if credible reports of abuse are received.

Enforcement

INIT5 Tech Projects SL reserves the right to:

suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy
cooperate with lawful requests from authorities
take appropriate action to protect the service and other users

Technical Restrictions

To maintain network performance and prevent abuse, dzugg applies technical restrictions on certain ports and protocols (such as SMTP and high-volume P2P file sharing). These measures are designed to ensure quality of service for all users.

Abuse detection and automated limits

To maintain service quality for all users, dzugg monitors total bandwidth usage (upload/download volume) per account.

If an account exceeds 250 GB of data transfer in a rolling 7-day period, we may:

Temporarily limit connection speed
Request the user to moderate their usage
Suspend the account in cases of extreme or repeated abuse

These limits are designed to prevent network degradation caused by a small number of users. Normal usage patterns (web browsing, video streaming, file downloads) rarely approach this limit.

Accounts that trigger this limit repeatedly may be terminated without refund.
